Hello everyone! It's been a while since I updated my page. A few donations have come in but I still need your help. Please give generously. I have been working at PMH now for 5 months now and have learned so much. It looks like I will be able to contribute something useful to this venture. But let me stress something at the forefront of my new appreciation for this kind of research: cancer is conquerable. We really can do it but we need help. A better understanding of the bio-programs that run within our cells is an absolute must if we want to win this battle. This is for all of us, as it will affect everyone in some way. Ponder the fact that there are little children fighting this disease. Imagine a vast innocence bombarded by the harsh light of this disorder. And imagine the suffering endured by these parents. Please give generously.

Since the little one in the pic was born, I had to stop my usual three hour basketball battles. As a consequence, I put on about 20 lbs. However, I recently picked up a bike that I fell in love with and have been riding a bit and I just adore it. I am really looking forward to the ride.
Since Cleo (again, the little one above) was born I also took up a new career. My training is in mathematical physics and I earned a doctorate in applied mathematics due to research I did in quantum algorithmics while living in California (an amazing place to cycle). A few months ago I realized that I might be useful in cancer research, and I found some amazing people in PMH/MaRS that gave me a shot and so here I am.
