Welcome to my Personal Page! The Ride to Conquer Cancer benefiting The Princess Margaret Hospital, is a cycling journey from Toronto to Niagara Falls - a distance of over 200 km - that I’m embarking on with my good friend Tim Lamarche (and others) to fight cancer. Tim and I volunteered at the 2008 event, along with many of our IBM colleagues and saw what an emotionally moving event this really is!

Contribute to this history-making event with a donation. Funds raised in The Ride to Conquer Cancer will support breakthrough research, exemplary teaching, and compassionate care at The Princess Margaret, one of the top 5 cancer research hospitals in the world.

It will be a challenge in a number of ways, but with my bike, my helmet, and your generosity, a real impact will be made!

The time has come...physical training is complete, and I'm feeling mentally ready. Thanks to everyone for your tremendous support...I'll be thinking of you as I ride over the weekend!

Motivation
Last night, I spent an enjoyable few hours watching my nieces dance in one of their biggest show events of the year. This evening, I learned of the passing from cancer of a young lady of just 17 years whom I met virtually thru some work with the Childrens Wish Foundation.
Rest in Peace Cami...I'll think of you while I'm riding - perhaps you'll be watching over me.
