Support My Ride to Conquer Cancer™
Welcome to my Personal Page! The Ride to Conquer Cancer benefiting The Princess Margaret Hospital.
I am riding with my brother Bruce in honor of our mother, Rubyna Wood who passed away 2 years ago after a brave battle with cancer. She was an avid cyclist having taken trips to Vermont, Denmark and along the Danube River and I know that if she were with us today she would be leading the way on this ride!!
We are embarking on a 2 day, 200 Km ride from Toronto to Niagara Falls on June 13th and 14th. All contributions will go directly to Cancer research for The Campbell Family Institute at Princess Margaret Hospital.
I have begun training and although this will not be an easy ride, with my bike, my helmet, your generous support and my Mom's guiding light I hope to make an impact against this terrible disease that affects us all.
