So excited to the point of wanting to vomit tomorrow, I handle stress remarkably well...and watched (some might argue, TRIED to help with) the birth of my 2 boys in 2 different countries in the last 3 years, but the pit in my stomach makes me feel like I've eaten about seven bananas.
And I've only eaten two.
If you're reading this, and you donated ANY amount of money to help reach our goal...I will be thinking of the great gift you made during the 220 km I will be riding, spread out over the next 2 days. I will let you know how it goes, but it's very rare in life you get to truly give something to people that REALLY REALLY benefits them. You gave what you could, or at least considered it, and I'm going to give everything I've got to finish as fast and strong and smooth as I can. The beer and steak Sunday night at home back with Rachel and the little guys will taste AMAZING.

Hey there....Greg here. I'd like to say I'm as a ready as I'll ever be to hit my Louis Garneau bike from the outstanding shop, Brown's Sports (!) and do some good work in finishing this race, and meeting my goals in terms of fundraising, and the personal challenge that this will be.
In the days to come, there's an easy way for you to make even a token donation of $25 or $50 and win some great prizes donated by AM640 in the process.
As for training, I'd be lying if I said I've been on the bike as much as I would have liked. That's not true...I need to be out more over the next 7-8 days, but fitness-wise and cardio-wise, I think I'm ready to tackle this.
I've been telling anyone who will listen that the first day and getting to Hamilton will be MUCH more difficult than getting to Niagara Falls on the second day. I hope that's true..I'm not planning for how sore I will actually be on the Sunday. It's going to be amazing.
Anyway...if you can donate - it'll be so greatly appreciated. Every dollar is going to something incredibly important, and yes, an easy tax receipt gets emailed right back to you when you do. More later..
Again - thanks to http://www.brownssports.com for the help with the bike and the equipment. It truly is a thing of beauty!
