I'm excited to announce our upcoming concert fundraising event!
JASON AND CAROLINE TAKE ON THE RIDE TO CONQUER CANCER
April 24th, 9pm
At Bread & Circus, 299 Augusta Ave. in Kensington Market, Toronto.
Join us for some good music and a great cause! We need your help to raise funds for The Ride to Conquer Cancer benefiting the Campbell Family Institute at the Princess Margaret Hospital.

Planning a Fundraising Event!
I just wanted to let everyone know that with the help of some friends, I'm currently organizing a fundraising event for April!
We've got some bands lined up, along with DJ Dirty Red. The details will be finalized over the next few days, and I'll post it here and on facebook!

Wow! Over 50% already!
I can't believe I've reached 53% of my goal already - I'm in awe of the generosity of my family and friends.

I am planning an event for the end of Feburary/March 2010, for Jason and I to both meet our goal before the race in June. I'll be sure to send out an invite via Facebook when the time comes!

The Challenge Begins!
Today is the day - I'm setting up my web page and beginning my campaign to raise money for the fight to conquer cancer!
The idea of raising $2500 has been daunting, but I know that my wonderful family, friends, and friends of friends will generously help me reach this goal!
A little about the event:
I will be riding (with my lovely boyfriend Jason - who has PROMISED not to ride too far ahead of me!!!) for 200 km over 2 days, from Toronto to Niagara Falls. We are camping out overnight in Hamilton, and will be taking the scenic route through the Halton Hills/Escarpment area. The event is on June 12-13 - two days after my birthday!
I have a lot to do to prepare for this ride, so please, give generously! We can all help fight cancer in our lifetimes.
