Support My Enbridge Ride to Conquer Cancer?

Welcome to my Personal Page! The Enbridge Ride to Conquer Cancer benefiting TheThe Princess Margaret, is a cycling journey from Toronto to Niagara Falls that I?m embarking on to fight cancer. It will be a challenge in a number of ways, but with my bike, my helmet, and your generosity, a real impact will be made!

I am riding this year in honour of my sister-in-law Jill who was diagnosed with breast cancer just last year at the age of 34. Thanks to the diagnosis, surgery, chemotherapy and radiation treatment she received at The Princess Margaret, we are thrilled to report that she is healthy, back-to-work, and back to being the best wife and mom to her two young kids.   

I am also riding this year in memory of my father-in-law Allan, who for many years fought a valiant battle with his own chronic illness. Sadly, less then two weeks after Jil finished her last radiation treatment, Allan lost his battle. But we know that he would not have had the many good years he did without the care he received at PMH with one of the world-leading researchers and practitioners.  

I felt that I needed to do something, to take on a challenge, to honour Jill and Allan and also to help raise money for The Princess Margaret so that others will continue to benefit from the care they offer.
