Welcome to my Personal Page! The Enbridge Ride to Conquer Cancer benefiting The Princess Margaret, is a cycling journey from Toronto to Niagara Falls that I?m embarking on to fight cancer. It will be a challenge in a number of ways, but with my bike, my helmet, and your generosity, a real impact will be made!

Cancer has touched all of our lives.

In 2005 my father lost his 7 year battle with Lymphoma.  In 2010 I was diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma.  6 weeks after my diagnosis, my mother was diagnosed with stage 4 lung cancer.  We supported each other during our fights with cancer and at times even had our chemotherapy treatments together.  Throughout her illness, despite the pain she endured, she was courageous, positive and supportive.  She died within 6 months just as I was completing my last radiation treatments.  After 12 chemo treatments and 3 weeks of radiation, I beat cancer, I survived, yet it has changed my life forever.

I have lost 3 grandparents to cancer as well as my close beautiful friend Brett.  He fought a brain tumour for over 3 years, leaving behind a devoted wife and their newborn son Mateo. 

 I have been searching for meaningful ways to redirect my pain, sadness and anger I have towards this disease.  I found it.  The Ride to Conquer Cancer.  I will fund raise, and I will ride proud with my family and friends knowing that what we are doing will make a difference.  I will be riding for myself, my parents Sharon and Mel, my grandparents, for Brett, for his family, for my 3 beautiful girls, for my amazing supportive husband and for all of my incredible loving friends. 

Cancer is limited:

It cannot cripple     HOPE

It cannot corrode    FAITH

It cannot eat away  PEACE

It cannot destroy    CONFIDENCE

It cannot shut out   MEMORIES

It cannot silence     COURAGE

It cannot invade     THE SOUL

It cannot steal       ETERNAL LIFE

It cannot quench    THE SPIRIT
