Team KPMG Ridin Survivin
Why do We Ride?
It is estimated that:
- 98,000 Canadian men will be diagnosed with cancer and 40,000 men will die from cancer.
- 94,000 Canadian women will be diagnosed with cancer and 37,000 women will die from cancer.
- On average, over 500 Canadians will be diagnosed with cancer every day.
- On average, over 200 Canadians will die from cancer every day.
More importantly, each of us has a cancer story – whether it’s personal, a family member or a close friend. We all endure the struggle to survive. We know first-hand the lifelong sorrow for those that don’t. No one should have to suffer the physical and emotional ravages of this complex disease in the 21st century.
In 2015, The Enbridge Ride to Conquer Cancer had an amazing 4,853 participants that raised over $19 million for The Princess Margaret Cancer Centre Foundation.
KPMG is the National Business Solutions Sponsor for the Ride. We have 4 teams across the country participating in the Conquer Cancer rides in Vancouver, Calgary, Toronto and Montreal.
We have been dedicated Ride Conquerors since 2010 with 900 affiliated riders across Canada who have raised over $4 million!
We are proud to support the efforts of the BC Cancer Research Foundation, the Alberta Cancer Research Foundation, the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre Foundation and the Jewish General Hospital in Montreal.
So please join us for a lifesaving and life changing adventure. Come ride with Team KPMG Ridin Survivin in 2016!
BELIEVE IT! We will conquer cancer in or lifetime.
