AN EPIC RIDE TO CONQUER CANCER

Why I'm doing it!

The statistics are overwhelming, with almost hlaf the population destined to get some form of cancer, we have to do everything we can to find a solution. We have all had people close tous in our lives that have either had cancer or died of cancer, or cancer related issues. Its a painful process to watch as cancer literally sucks the life out of you.

I'm doing this ride for my father, my father in law (both of whom passed away, one from cancer, one from cancer related issues), my friends (survivors and fighters), my friends families (some of whom lost their battle some continue to fight).

Lastly I'm doing it for my family, the reality is that in a family of 5, statistically 2 people in MY family will get cancer!!!!!!

Contribute to this history-making event with a donation. Funds raised in The Ride to Conquer Cancer will support breakthrough research, exemplary teaching, and compassionate care made possible through BC Cancer Foundation, a leader in cancer research and care.

Thank you in advance for your help.

Stepping up the rides
Trying to ride everyday now, either inside or out. By the way, I hate the wind!!!!!! My team is steadily rasing money and now we have 2 months until the ride. I think it will be a great experience.

barefoot running
ran 2 miles in a pair of shoes that look like gloves for feet. Thought I was going to be in big pain, but wasn't at all.
Getting excited, I think Stephen over at bike gallery has some bikes for me to try out.
