Dear Friends,

Thank you very much for your generous donations. It was an inspiring weekend to see over 3000 participants fight through the hills, 240 km of distance, the RAIN!  and to see the many people with yellow flags on their bikes, signifying a Cancer survivor or amazingly someone still fighting Cancer. I have to say, the many personal stories I heard on why each rider was determined to ride and finish was both heartbreaking and at the same time heartwarming.

I know that your donation and the many others (over $11 million in total ) will  make a big difference in the lives of people who are diagnosed with cancer and to those that love them.

For me this weekend was a great real life experience of our community coming together to solve a terrible disease. Truly, we can and must find a cure and we can best do it together.
