We are on a conquest. We have decided to team up for the 2016 Ride to Conquer Cancer, presented by Silver Wheaton benefiting the BC Cancer Foundation.
Team Taylor is in it's 5th year. Since we created the team in 2012 we have raised over $80,000 for Cancer Research.
Taylor Parsons lost his battle to a brain tumor in 2003. We ride in his honour. His courage was amazing. Riding for 2 days to Seattle and reaching out to people to support us in this journey is nothing compared to what Taylor faced. 2 Brain surgeries, radiation, chemotherapy, multiple MRIs, numerous hours at Children's Hospital. All things nobody would wish on a youngster.
The Ride is an epic, two-day cycling event taking place August 27-28, 2016 and spanning over 200 kilometers!
The money we raise for the Ride to Conquer Cancer will benefit the BC Cancer Foundation and support leading clinicians, scientists, and researchers whose search for new discoveries and improved patient outcomes will have a real impact in our communities throughout the province, across Canada, and around the world.
Since 2009, the Ride has raised $70 million for the BC Cancer Foundation and is B.C.’s largest cycling fundraiser.
This can be your opportunity to do something challenging and rewarding in so many ways. And you won’t do it alone. We will be doing training rides, helping each other fundraise and generating awareness for critical cancer research.
Please donate to us or join us. Thank you in advance for your support!
