TEAM BODY GO
We ride because we CAN. We ride to remember. We ride to make a difference. We ride because we believe Cancer Can be Beaten and we want to be part of an EPIC Weekend to Benefit the Princess Margaret Cancer Centre. Join TEAM BODY GO and feel the power of a 200km cycling achievement and feel the power of change.
The story of TEAM BODY GO begins with our captain who signed up for the Ride to Conquer Cancer (RTCC) in 2009 when his mother was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. She was a fighter and her surgery had gone well. Then, the unthinkable happened: two weeks after the 2009 RTCC both of his parents were killed in a car crash on their way to a chemo treatment. No words are enough. We ride for many reasons. He has not missed a year since.
Team member, Gill Grant, rides to say THANK YOU. The Princess Margaret Cancer Centre saved her life. She was 38 years old with three young children and the diagnosis of Non Hodgkin’s Lymphoma was grim. She is our survivor. We ride for hope.
Join us! You won’t do it alone. We will be doing training rides every Sunday for ten weeks starting spring 2017. TEAM BODY GO and Captain Donnelly have the routes, the tech support and the training know how to get you to that finish line.
Believe it. You can do it. And: we WILL conquer cancer in our lifetime.
If you would like to donate please choose a rider and give what you can. Be part of something truly extraordinary.
