I want to ride with you on August 26 - 27 for the Ride to Conquer Cancer.
My cancer story is not unique, the number of people whose lives are touched by cancer is far too many and, if they are lucky, behind them is a network of family and friends who make this unwanted journey with them. I am doubly blessed with support from YOU my family and friends and I am thankful for every day - my new motto is NO BAD DAYS.
I am also excited to have created a ride team Grey Matter so that I can share the experience with you. The journey is greater than just raising money or just riding a bike- it brings wonderful people together to have an unforgettable life adventure. Also, it’s not the Tour de France - you just need to be able to ride a bike, and if you can’t do that you can volunteer to support the team and if you can’t do that then please sponsor my ride. Come join Grey Matter for an experience you will never forget!
And our journey matches the cancer journey - every kilometer we pedal is a direct link to improvements in the cancer journey, advances in research, supporting brilliant doctors find the answers and implement changes in treatment - all this made possible by your generosity. Patients in BC like me enjoy better outcomes because of the quality of the care, the world class science, and the promising research being done.
It would mean a lot to me if you joined my Grey Matter team.
