Well, I've started sending out the emails and I know many of you will respond. thanks very much.
But there's something not in the emails that you need to know. This year is going to be even tougher for me due to a physical challenge that has cropped up.
A while ago i torn my achilles tendon in an accident while helping out with community theatre. The surgery was performed a few days ago and now I'm waiting to see how things are going. Even in best pof all possible outcomes, rehabilitation is going to be long and hard.
But I am detrenmined not to let it interfere with the Ride to Conquer Cancer. After all others have completed the ride with one leg. Certainly I can with one and a half or more.
But I have faith. And so do many others praying for me. If your so inclined I would ask you to pray for me as well. Pray that the tendon heals completely and I'm strong enough to complete the Ride when the time comes.
Thanks everyone. See you next time.

The 2008 Ride to Conquer Cancer was an incredible experience. I knew that I would make it, but I was surprised at how 'Not' tired I was.
Now we start the journey to Niagara Falls in 2009. This time I'm not going alone. kortright Church has been my spiritual home for over a decade now and so I have decided to start Team Kortright.
As of today we have our first Team member - Brian Watson. A great guy and one of my most ardent supporters in the 2008 Ride. I look forward to training and riding with him.
The 2009 journey has begun.
