Beautiful day, plus 25. I went for a 3 hour ride today scouting out new trails to travel that link from my new home in Calgary. My new bike is comfy to ride.

Yesterday, Dad called. He had been to Bentley Cycle upgrading the shifting system on his recumbent bike. I am happy to hear that the changes he made make a world of difference in the performance of his bike.
Then he told me that he took a cool, urban style bike on a demo ride. He said that it would suit my needs perfectly. I expected him to suggest that I take a look at it when I am ready to consider upgrading from my current clunky, heavy mountain bike. Instead, he told me that he bought it for me!
I can't wait to go visit on Monday and to see and ride it! I'm sure it will be perfect for the Ride to Conquer Cancer!

I am now back in Calgary.
Dad helped me move. All of my things, have made it safely and efficiently.
He brought his recumbent bike along so that we could travel the Calgary trails once we had finished and that's exactly what we did.
I now live conveniently close to the pathways and can easily make it a daily habit!

Each of us is excited to partake in this adventure!
Dad, Chris and Keith will be riding recumbent bikes; Tammy and I will be riding conventional bikes.
Each of us is out biking several times per week in preparation.
