Please Support My Enbridge Ride to Conquer Cancer™

Welcome friends and family!  I was inspired last year and joined The 2014 Enbridge Ride to Conquer Cancer benefiting Princess Margaret Cancer Centre.  This is a cycling journey throughout Ontario's countryside that I’m embarking on to fight cancer. It will be a challenge in a number of ways, but with my bike, my helmet, and your generosity, a real impact will be made!

This year is my first time riding and I am honoured to be riding with "Paramedics for a Cure".  We are a team that is 21 strong with riders and friends from multiple Ontario Ambulance services represented!

Cancer is an indiscriminate disease that affects many Canadians and their families every year.  It knows no boundaries, and crosses all ages, sex and race.   I have experienced both victory and defeat in the war on cancer within my own family and through my patients during my 12 year career as a Paramedic.  I am riding for my young family and for those who's families who have been devastated by this horrible disease.

It is time for me to do my part.  Pleass seriously consider contributing to this history-making event with a donation. Funds raised in The Enbridge Ride to Conquer Cancer will support breakthrough research, exemplary teaching, and compassionate care at Princess Margaret, one of the top 5 cancer research centres in the world.

We ask that you consider a donation of just 50 cents per km.  That amounts to a $100 contribution towards a cure.  I pledge that amount myself along with the time and sweat needed to get 'er done!  Any amount will help, with all pledges $10 and over receiving tax receipts.

Thank you in advance for your help,

David Naftolin
