AN EPIC RIDE TO CONQUER CANCER

Support My Ride to Conquer Cancer™
Thank you for visiting my Ride to Conquer Cancer page. My sister, Tracy, and I will be participating in this exciting even benefiting The Princess Margaret Hospital in June 2008.
What is the Ride?
It's a cycling journey from Toronto to Niagara Falls - a distance of over 200 km - that I’m embarking on to fight cancer. It will be a challenge in a number of ways, but with my bike and your generosity, a real impact will be made!
Why am I doing this?
Aside from the obvious reason - to help raise money to fight cancer - I'm riding for family and friends that I've lost to this horrible disease and the survivors that I know and love. Whether it's you personally, a famly member, or someone you love, the sad truth is that everyone is touched by cancer at some point in their lives, and I'm riding to try to change that.
Funds raised in The Ride to Conquer Cancer will support breakthrough research, exemplary teaching, and compassionate care at The Princess Margaret, one of the top 5 cancer research hospitals in the world. Your donation - no matter how big or how small - will make a difference, so please, give generously and help me to Conquer Cancer!

It's Wednesday, June 18th, which means Tracy & I will be starting this incredible journey in just 3 short days. I'm feeling a mixture of fear / nervous anticipation, excitement, and exreme gratitude. I can't believe that Tracy and I were able to raise a combined total of over $5800 for this amazing cause, and I am so thankful to our fantastic family and friends for all of your support. You've all been there for us in so many ways every step of the way, and I'm looking forward to doing you all proud this weekend!

Mom - our constant cheerleader and fundraising champion
Sean & Alex - our phenomenal boyfriends who have been so understanding of the time we've had to devote to training (special thanks to Sean for our bikes too!!)
